Schedule 1 - Acceptable Use Policy
Please note that this Acceptable Use Policy will apply to your Marosa Services upon any renewal, upgrade, or Service purchase made on or after December 4, 2025.
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) governs the Customer’s use of the Marosa Services. The Policy applies to your use of any Marosa Service and the Platform in addition to, and incorporate by reference, (i) the Marosa General Terms and Conditions made available to the Customer by Marosa(the “General Terms”) and (ii) any Service-Specific Supplemental Terms incorporated to the Agreement via any applicable Order Document(s). This Policy, together with the General Terms, any applicable Service-Specific Supplemental Terms and Order Documents, are integral parts of the Agreement between Marosa and the Customer.
Any capitalized terms used and not defined in this Policy shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the General Terms. Updates to referenced documents will be communicated to the Customer in accordance with the notice provisions set out in the General Terms.
1. Introduction
1.1. This Policy sets out the rules governing:
(a) the use of the VATify Platform, any successor website, and the Services available on that Platform or any successor website (the "Services"); and
(b) the transmission, storage and processing of Customer Data and Content by the Customer, or by any person on the Customer’s behalf, using the Services.
1.2. By using the Services, you agree to the rules set out in this Policy.
1.3. We will ask for your express agreement to the terms of this Policy as part of this Agreement.
2. General Usage Rules
2.1. You must not use the Services or Platform:
(a) in any way that is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful; or
(b) in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful purpose or activity.
2.2. You must ensure that all Customer Data complies with the provisions of this Policy.
3. Factual Accuracy
3.1. Customer Data must not be untrue, false, inaccurate or misleading.
3.2. The Customer and all Authorized Users, Representatives and other users acting on behalf of the Customer, are strictly prohibited from utilizing the Platform and Services for any fraudulent tax schemes or activities that are in violation of applicable laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, tax evasion, tax fraud, and the willful misrepresentation or reporting of financial information. The Customer, including all Authorized Users and Representatives of the Customer, is required to use the Platform and Services solely for the purpose of accurate tax preparation, compliance, and reporting in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any use of the Platform or Services that is found to be in violation of these prohibitions may result in the immediate termination of the Customer’s access to the Platform and Services, and may subject the Customer to legal penalties and liabilities.
3.3. Statements of fact contained in Customer Data and relating to persons (legal or natural) must be true.
4. Marketing and Spam
4.1. You must not use the Platform or Services for any purpose relating to the marketing, advertising, promotion, sale or supply of any product, service or commercial offering.
5. Regulated Businesses
5.1. You must not use the Platform or Services for any purpose relating to gambling, gaming, betting, lotteries, sweepstakes, prize competitions or any gambling-related activity.
6. Monitoring
6.1. You acknowledge that we may actively monitor the Customer Data and the Customer’s use of the Platform and Services.
7. Data Mining
7.1. You must not conduct any systematic or automated data scraping, data mining, data extraction or data harvesting, or other systematic or automated data collection activity, by means of or in relation to the Services.
8. Hyperlinks
8.1. You must not link to any material using or by means of the Platform or Services that would, if it were made available through the Platform or Services, breach the provisions of this Policy.
9. Harmful Software
9.1. The Customer Data must not contain or consist of, and you must not promote, distribute or execute by means of the Platform or Services, any viruses, worms, spyware, adware or other harmful or malicious software, programs, routines, applications or technologies.
9.2. The Customer Data must not contain or consist of, and you must not promote, distribute or execute by means of the Platform or Services, any software, programs, routines, applications or technologies that will or may have a material negative effect upon the performance of a computer or introduce material security risks to a computer.
